André Onana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Fuentes, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 5 minutes into the match, Arturo Fuentes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of André Onana. OldHighburyInvincibles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arturo Fuentes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Derek Perry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 10 minutes into the match, Filiph Inzaghi notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Key Biscayne FC's Brice Carey. Brice Carey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Filiph Inzaghi came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the OldHighburyInvincibles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiph Inzaghi couldn't finish the play. André Onana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derek Perry in the 24th minute of play. Brice Carey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiph Inzaghi, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. André Onana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arturo Fuentes's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After a rather tough play, OldHighburyInvincibles's Aurelio Ferrante got a free kick in the 29th minute. Bryan Rosenberg charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bryan Rosenberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bryan Rosenberg hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. André Onana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Fuentes in the 45th minute of the match. Derek Perry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Onana having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Derek Perry to strike the kick off in the second half. Brice Carey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiph Inzaghi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brice Carey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiph Inzaghi, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 74th minute, Key Biscayne FC's Arturo Fuentes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind André Onana. André Onana yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. A collision led to Key Biscayne FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Arturo Fuentes hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Bryan Rosenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edoardo Gabriele, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. OldHighburyInvincibles's Filiph Inzaghi got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 94 played minutes Key Biscayne FC got a freekick which was hit by Colin Kohler. Brice Carey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiph Inzaghi in the 95th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
