The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ricardinho Vander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Emanuel Predescu made a huge save. The English Fire fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Toninho Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Nișu in the 8th minute of the match. Giovani Cearense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Emanuel Predescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Toninho Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionică Iriza in the 20th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Aracatiara EC's goal looked a bit too open when Pavel Nișu came free, but Toninho Tepedino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Ionică Iriza notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Aracatiara EC's Toninho Tepedino. Toninho Tepedino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Toninho Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionică Iriza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Manole Silişteanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toninho Tepedino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Nișu, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ionică Iriza kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Pavel Nișu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Toninho Tepedino came out and tried to block the shot, but Pavel Nișu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 60th minute. Manole Silişteanu took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Toninho Tepedino. Toninho Tepedino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Valer Hăulică sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of English Fire booed when Aracatiara EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovani Carioca didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Aracatiara EC defense, Ionică Iriza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toninho Tepedino. The Aracatiara EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toninho Tepedino should have stopped the shot. Toninho Tepedino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iurie Rădoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in English Fire reached it. After some careless play in the Aracatiara EC defense, Ionică Iriza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toninho Tepedino. The Aracatiara EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toninho Tepedino should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute, Manole Silişteanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The English Fire fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Pavel Nișu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toninho Tepedino came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by English Fire's Ionică Iriza. But to his dismay, Ionică Iriza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. English Fire's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
