Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bengt-Arne Stabbe kicked off to start the match. Jairo Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Hurtig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, AIF's Anders Askestät got a free kick in the 12th minute. Edgar Brenner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Jairo Fonseca was a little too slow when Bengt-Arne Stabbe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavinho Luz in the 21st minute of play forced AIF's goalkeeper Edgar Brenner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Durval Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Brenner having to interfere. Jairo Fonseca came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by AIF's Oliver Grep. But to his dismay, Oliver Grep quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 33 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Rodrigues came free, but Edgar Brenner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Hurtig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Jairo Fonseca made a huge save. Edgar Brenner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the match, Geraldo de Sena notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of AIF's Edgar Brenner. Edgar Brenner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luciano Rodrigues made a kick off. Karl-Michael Bergstedt's late challenge caught a Clube Atlético Luziense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Michael Bergstedt helped the player get up and apologised. Flavinho Luz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edgar Brenner. AIF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Edgar Brenner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo de Sena in the 53rd minute of play. Jairo Fonseca came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by AIF's Bengt-Arne Stabbe. But to his dismay, Bengt-Arne Stabbe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 60 minutes into the game, AIF's Oliver Grep nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jairo Fonseca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. 64 minutes into the match, AIF's goalkeeper Edgar Brenner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Rodrigues. 68 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Geraldo de Sena came free, but Edgar Brenner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerson Furlan got free with Edgar Brenner in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerson Furlan during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of AIF booed when Clube Atlético Luziense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerson Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oliver Grep fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Fonseca having to interfere. A collision led to Clube Atlético Luziense getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Celso de Amaral hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerson Furlan in the 84th minute of play forced AIF's goalkeeper Edgar Brenner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luciano Rodrigues might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar Brenner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luciano Rodrigues ran back to his position shaking his head. Karl-Michael Bergstedt hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Edgar Brenner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavinho Luz in the 88th minute of play. Edgar Brenner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geraldo de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AIF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
