Emanuel Predescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Halcon Sport 69. After a rather tough play, English Fire's Iurie Rădoi got a free kick in the 25th minute. After 26 played minutes, Halcon Sport 69's Bermund Bacardi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emanuel Predescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Halcon Sport 69 reached it. If Valer Hăulică had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofilo Ruete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Predescu having to interfere. After 30 minutes, Iurie Rădoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the English Fire and the Halcon Sport 69 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th match minute, English Fire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iurie Rădoi to maneuver through the defense. Bermund Bacardi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emanuel Predescu. English Fire's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gillermo Serrano in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Predescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iurie Rădoi kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Emanuel Predescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pepillo Peñaranda's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Guillem Vandoma took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emanuel Predescu. English Fire's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Manole Silişteanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ionică Iriza got free with Tabby Leceta in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute Teofilo Ruete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Predescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Teofilo Ruete fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Halcon Sport 69's protests and gave Teofilo Ruete a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes Halcon Sport 69 got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Ruete. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Emanuel Predescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gillermo Serrano in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Fresco Ceron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Ionică Iriza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tabby Leceta was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Pavel Nișu scored 2-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tabby Leceta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to English Fire getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Iurie Rădoi hit a great ball. Amador Alamasa hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Tabby Leceta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Nișu, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Pavel Nișu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute of the match Germano Gestoso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emanuel Predescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Halcon Sport 69 booed when English Fire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valer Hăulică didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. English Fire had won after a very even match.
