Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bengt-Arne Stabbe started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Hurtig in the 10th minute of play forced Aracatiara EC's goalkeeper Toninho Tepedino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Christian Hurtig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 minutes of play, AIF's Christian Hurtig made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toninho Tepedino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benjamin Tolsson's late challenge caught a Aracatiara EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin Tolsson helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes AIF got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Tolsson. A hard shot by Giovani Carioca from long distance, 18 minutes into the match, got Edgar Brenner's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 20th minute, Amílton Botelho fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Edgar Brenner, passed just outside the right post. In the 21st minute, Christian Hurtig left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AIF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 26th minute, Oliver Grep hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, AIF's Bengt-Arne Stabbe got a free kick in the 31st minute. Toninho Tepedino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Hurtig, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Oliver Grep sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Michael Bergstedt lost his temper 38 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in AIF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! In the 44thth minute of the game Bengt-Arne Stabbe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aracatiara EC's Toninho Tepedino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edgar Brenner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovani Cearense in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílton Botelho in the 48th minute of play forced AIF's goalkeeper Edgar Brenner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

After a defensive mix-up in Aracatiara EC's zone, Bengt-Arne Stabbe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toninho Tepedino came out of the goal and Bengt-Arne Stabbe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toninho Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Hurtig in the 54th minute of the match. Aracatiara EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Bengt-Arne Stabbe scored to the left of an out of position Toninho Tepedino, making the score, 1-4. Edgar Brenner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovani Cearense in the 61st minute of the match. Christian Hurtig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Tepedino having to interfere. Benjamin Tolsson hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. AIF's Edgar Brenner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovani Cearense in the 72nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giovani Cearense in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Brenner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Giovani Cearense came free, but Edgar Brenner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toninho Tepedino made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Christian Hurtig sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardinho Vander in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Brenner saved AIF from getting behind.
