In the 8th match minute, Passa o Tanque MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos de Senna to maneuver through the defense. Laerte de Senna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Låsberg in the 14th minute. Laerte de Senna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. 89 minutes into the match, Stockholm IF's goalkeeper Ralf Magnusson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean Souza. 91 minutes into the match, Passa o Tanque MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Niclas Åman came free, but Laerte de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Erik Överman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laerte de Senna was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Ralf Magnusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Many of Passa o Tanque MZ's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Passa o Tanque MZ may have spent more time on the ball, but Stockholm IF were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
