With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esbjörn Tunander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Allan Bivall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Esbjörn Tunander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Vitaliy van der Aa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GrassNuts FC's Esbjörn Tunander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxim Tsigalko in the 43rd minute of play. A collision led to GrassNuts FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Fabian Fransson hit a great ball. GrassNuts FC:s Esbjörn Tunander showed great skill when he stopped Maxim Tsigalko:s penalty. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Philip Åkerman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Vince Di Cola made a huge save. In the 57th minute Allan Bivall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esbjörn Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timmy Henriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esbjörn Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxim Tsigalko in the 66th minute of the match. GrassNuts FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Samurai's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
