Göran Canes short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Marcus Ekrot to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Göran Cane spun around in front of the goal 6 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Vykans Vikingar's goal. In the 9th minute Svartvallstjärnens IF were awarded a corner. Björn Andberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Tore Svartström made a great header on Svartvallstjärnens IF's corner, it was just that Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot managed to reach the ball for a save. 13 minutes into the match, Svartvallstjärnens IF's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Mutumba came free, but Sven-Erik Asmundsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 17 minutes, Göran Cane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svartvallstjärnens IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Göran Cane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Cane in the 20th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Martin Mutumba notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Svartvallstjärnens IF's Sven-Erik Asmundsson. Sven-Erik Asmundsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29th minute, Alessandro Micucci ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Erik Asmundsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Svartvallstjärnens IF's goalkeeper Sven-Erik Asmundsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Alessandro Micucci ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Erik Asmundsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Sven-Erik Asmundsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmanuel Dennis in the 39th minute of play. Sven-Erik Asmundsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emmanuel Dennis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Göran Cane who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Marcus Ekrot when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Mutumba was the one to do the kick off. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Cane, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Martin Mutumba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Vykans Vikingar's Christoffer Johansson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Christoffer Johansson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Vykans Vikingar protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Christoffer Johansson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Svartvallstjärnens IF made a substitution. Kevin Karlberg replaced Göran Cane. 60 minutes into the game, one of Vykans Vikingar:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Vykans Vikingar:s Marcus Ekrot showed great skill when he stopped Gunnar Asplund:s penalty. Svartvallstjärnens IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Alessandro Micucci scored to the left of an out of position Sven-Erik Asmundsson, making the score, 0-4. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Börje Stål replaced Emmanuel Dennis. Jose Indalecio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Erik Asmundsson having to interfere. In the 84th minute Genaro Remicio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Erik Asmundsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Erik Asmundsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Remicio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the game, Genaro Remicio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sven-Erik Asmundsson. Genaro Remicio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Åke Vestlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Svartvallstjärnens IF were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Vykans Vikingar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Björn Andberg took the corner. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Björn Andberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcus Ekrot in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Granberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Vykans Vikingar supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vykans Vikingar would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
