When Bennvar Bonk came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Fusk&Bygg AB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bennvar Bonk couldn't finish the play. Fusk&Bygg AB's Su Premetis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredric Melander in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, National Team Cape-Verde's Hjalmar Browald nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Su Premetis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Su Premetis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hjalmar Browald's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. With a little luck, National Team Cape-Verde's Pål Sefastsson got control of the ball when Ralf Sundin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fusk&Bygg AB's Su Premetis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hjalmar Browald in the 38th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Bennvar Bonk fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Pål Sefastsson, passed just outside the right post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Leon Fasgar made in the 55th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Hjalmar Browald immediately put the ball in play. 57 minutes into the match, National Team Cape-Verde's goal looked a bit too open when Ralf Sundin came free, but Pål Sefastsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Sundin in the 59th minute of play forced National Team Cape-Verde's goalkeeper Pål Sefastsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Fasgar hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Su Premetis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Ove Sörman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Su Premetis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Ove Sörman in the 63rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Fusk&Bygg AB's zone, Hjalmar Browald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Su Premetis came out of the goal and Hjalmar Browald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fusk&Bygg AB's Arne Broman was substituted for Bennvar Bonk. In the 72nd minute Arne Broman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Sefastsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pål Sefastsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Broman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pål Sefastsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Sundin in the 92nd minute of the match. When Fusk&Bygg AB's Ralf Sundin in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The corner led Fusk&Bygg AB's Niklas Myhr to fire away a dangerous shot which Pål Sefastsson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The National Team Cape-Verde supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing National Team Cape-Verde would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
