In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wargön's goalkeeper Sören Tunberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wargön's Sören Tunberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Nyström in the 13th minute of play. Sören Tunberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Tönnberg in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Zdzislaw Liermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Wargön's goal looked a bit too open when Loco Durazno came free, but Sören Tunberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mats Nyström was the one to do the kick off. Wargön's Sören Tunberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Wargön from getting a goal against them.
