Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maxim Tsigalko in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Ekrot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute, Maxim Tsigalko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jens-Ove Blomqvist hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Tage Glanselius made in the 29th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Samurai's Cafu Dolar. Wu Qi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcus Ekrot having to make a save. Vykans Vikingar's Fernan Berart was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vince Di Cola in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Maxim Tsigalko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Ekrot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Samurai's goalkeeper Vince Di Cola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emmanuel Dennis. The supporters of Samurai booed when Vykans Vikingar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. But to his dismay, Maxim Tsigalko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Samurai eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
