When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Hjalmar Browald put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sture Abrahamsson. A collision led to Nytäppet Fc getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Tobias Hedbom hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Fredric Melander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The National Team Cape-Verde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Sture Abrahamsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hjalmar Browald in the 28th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Broberg in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sture Abrahamsson saved Nytäppet Fc from getting behind. In the 44th minute Hjalmar Browald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Abrahamsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Nytäppet Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Hjalmar Browald came free, but Sture Abrahamsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yin Yang Wei charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yin Yang Wei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th match minute, National Team Cape-Verde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yin Yang Wei to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Dušan Vlahović made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Xande Solitario who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but National Team Cape-Verde's Pål Sefastsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sture Abrahamsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Dušan Vlahović sped through National Team Cape-Verde's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pål Sefastsson. After 74 played minutes Nytäppet Fc got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Hedbom. In the 77th minute, Håkan Ivarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. National Team Cape-Verde's Fredric Melander got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Broberg in the 79th minute of play forced Nytäppet Fc's goalkeeper Sture Abrahamsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Hjalmar Browald kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sture Abrahamsson. That made the score 1-4 in the 84 minute of play. Nytäppet Fc's Sture Abrahamsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Nytäppet Fc from getting a goal against them. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. National Team Cape-Verde walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
