Wu Qi might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esbjörn Tunander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wu Qi ran back to his position shaking his head. Wu Qi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esbjörn Tunander having to make a save. Esbjörn Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wu Qi in the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Marcus Skytt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Skytt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the GrassNuts FC defense, Wu Qi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esbjörn Tunander. The GrassNuts FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esbjörn Tunander should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Samurai booed when GrassNuts FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yin Wei Cheng didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Wu Qi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Esbjörn Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wu Qi in the 18th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Allan Bivall cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Esbjörn Tunander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Allan Bivall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Skytt in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esbjörn Tunander saved GrassNuts FC from getting behind. Samurai's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Allan Bivall in the 28th minute. A nice corner shot did that Allan Bivall got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Esbjörn Tunander quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 34 minutes into the match, Samurai's goalkeeper Vince Di Cola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roger Magnusson. 36 minutes into the match, Wu Qi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esbjörn Tunander. GrassNuts FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wu Qi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 39 minutes into the game, Samurai's Wu Qi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esbjörn Tunander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After some careless play in the GrassNuts FC defense, Abram Cadabra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esbjörn Tunander. The GrassNuts FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esbjörn Tunander should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Samurai's Vince Di Cola got control of the ball when Pierre-Emile Højbjerg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vitaliy van der Aa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Esbjörn Tunander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Skytt, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Esbjörn Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Ove Blomqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre-Emile Højbjerg in the 58th minute of play forced Samurai's goalkeeper Vince Di Cola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wu Qi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wu Qi got free with Esbjörn Tunander in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes into the match, Samurai's Wu Qi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esbjörn Tunander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wu Qi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samurai made a substitution. Terry Silver replaced Hernán Grana. 73 minutes into the match, GrassNuts FC's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Bivall came free, but Esbjörn Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GrassNuts FC's Esbjörn Tunander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save GrassNuts FC from getting a goal against them. Esbjörn Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Bivall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Timmy Henriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, GrassNuts FC's goalkeeper Esbjörn Tunander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esbjörn Hultstrand. 90 minutes into the match, GrassNuts FC's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Bivall came free, but Esbjörn Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Samurai's Esbjörn Hultstrand sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esbjörn Tunander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Esbjörn Hultstrand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esbjörn Tunander was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. GrassNuts FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Timmy Henriksson 96 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. When the final whistle sounded Samurai left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than GrassNuts FC.
