The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, LIVIUS UNITED MLS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olimpiu Blidaru to maneuver through the defense. When Sacha Lilley came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Astreix&ObelixSoccer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sacha Lilley couldn't finish the play. In the 5thth minute of the game Jonas Dahlberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Ian Little was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Allan Callens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yanick Knecht. Allan Callens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Yanick Knecht showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Callens in the 15th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sacha Lilley got free with Yanick Knecht in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nat Firth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Yanick Knecht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anton Pieler took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yanick Knecht. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jasper Jump could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Yanick Knecht made a huge save. Ian Little showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolomé Perpiñán in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Şimandan in the 29th minute of play forced Astreix&ObelixSoccer's goalkeeper Ian Little to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Astreix&ObelixSoccer's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jonas Dahlberg was slow to take the kick. During this time LIVIUS UNITED MLS's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Şimandan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ian Little tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yanick Knecht made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sacha Lilley in the 39th minute. With a little luck, LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Yanick Knecht got control of the ball when Jasper Jump tried to sneak it across the goal line. 52 minutes into the match, Frank McLintock had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yanick Knecht. The supporters of Astreix&ObelixSoccer booed when LIVIUS UNITED MLS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcu Iosub didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcu Iosub charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcu Iosub the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 64 played minutes LIVIUS UNITED MLS got a freekick which was hit by Marcu Iosub. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Ian Little played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Dahlberg in the 70th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Frank McLintock managed to get in a good position for a shot. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank McLintock was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yanick Knecht breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Frank McLintock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 played minutes LIVIUS UNITED MLS got a freekick which was hit by Filip Doinaș. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Frank McLintock got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of LIVIUS UNITED MLS booed when Astreix&ObelixSoccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sacha Lilley didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Bartolomé Perpiñán slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ian Little. That made the score 5-1 after 81 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Daniel Şimandan managed to get in a good position for a shot. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Şimandan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ian Little breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Keith Backhouse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yanick Knecht having to interfere. Frank McLintock recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nat Firth scored 6-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yanick Knecht, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 96 played minutes LIVIUS UNITED MLS got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Şimandan. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
