The Astreix&ObelixSoccer fans' excitement grew in the 2nd match minute when Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Jakub Moizuk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 5 minutes into the match, GUTIERREZ SC's goal looked a bit too open when Jakub Moizuk came free, but Nicasio Thomas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nat Firth blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicasio Thomas having to make a save. Nicasio Thomas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nat Firth in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute Jakub Moizuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Thomas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Astreix&ObelixSoccer booed when GUTIERREZ SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Eudoxio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, GUTIERREZ SC's goal looked a bit too open when Jakub Moizuk came free, but Nicasio Thomas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Rostow in the 17th minute of play forced Astreix&ObelixSoccer's goalkeeper Ian Little to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sacha Lilley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Nat Firth put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Nicasio Thomas. Nicasio Thomas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jakub Moizuk's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Abel Etor notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Ian Little. Ian Little was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Ian Little got control of the ball when Abel Etor tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 29 in the game by Abel Etor from a close distance when the talented Ian Little managed to make a qualified save. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's players were relieved. 30 minutes into the match, Astreix&ObelixSoccer's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Lizewski came free, but Ian Little reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Etor took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ian Little. Ian Little dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 37th minute Jakub Moizuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Thomas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicasio Thomas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakub Moizuk in the 37th minute of play. After 38 minutes of play, Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Jakub Moizuk made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicasio Thomas was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41st minute, Amado Lider hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Ian Little played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Rostow in the 43rd minute of play. After 44 minutes of play, Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Jakub Moizuk made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicasio Thomas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abel Etor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicasio Thomas came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Sacha Lilley. But to his dismay, Sacha Lilley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Sacha Lilley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's supporters rose to their feet, but Sacha Lilley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicasio Thomas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th minute Sacha Lilley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Thomas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Sacha Lilley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicasio Thomas. GUTIERREZ SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sacha Lilley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-6. Astreix&ObelixSoccer made a substitution. Quentin Hart replaced Allan Callens. GUTIERREZ SC's Nicasio Thomas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank McLintock in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, GUTIERREZ SC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank McLintock came free, but Nicasio Thomas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Frank McLintock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nicasio Thomas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank McLintock in the 87th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank McLintock in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicasio Thomas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner went over the outstretched arms of GUTIERREZ SC's goalie and right to Nat Firth. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. GUTIERREZ SC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Ian Little showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Rostow, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Astreix&ObelixSoccer had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
