When Octavio Gorosti came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Falckner FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavio Gorosti couldn't finish the play. Mauro Cordareo struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Staffan Lind didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Falckner FC. In the 10th match minute, Linköpings AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Lind to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Octavio Gorosti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Staffan Lind. Linköpings AIK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Octavio Gorosti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Octavio Gorosti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Staffan Lind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Gorosti, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Gorosti came free, but Staffan Lind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Octavio Gorosti notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Linköpings AIK's Staffan Lind. Staffan Lind was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mauro Cordareo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Staffan Lind having to make a save. Octavio Gorosti scored 3-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Staffan Lind, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Venancio Rocendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Torstensson in the 32nd minute of play. Arnulfo Eviss short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Staffan Lind to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Falckner FC were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Linköpings AIK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Prudencio Quintyn took the corner. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Prospero Kiliz advanced and headed the ball into goal, 4-0 in the 38th minute. Staffan Lind was a little too slow when Octavio Gorosti got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Octavio Gorosti to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Octavio Gorosti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Staffan Lind was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Kent Lind made in the 54th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Oliver Holmstedt however managed to control. After having played for 60 minutes, Octavio Gorosti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Falckner FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octavio Gorosti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Octavio Gorosti took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Staffan Lind. Staffan Lind dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Falckner FC's Gianluca Vialli was substituted for Octavio Gorosti. After 74 minutes, Kent Lind mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Linköpings AIK and the Falckner FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80thth minute of the game Gianluca Vialli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Linköpings AIK's Staffan Lind was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kent Lind hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the game, Gianluca Vialli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Staffan Lind was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Linköpings AIK's zone, Gianluca Vialli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Staffan Lind came out of the goal and Gianluca Vialli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 91st play minutes Gianluca Vialli shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Staffan Lind and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 93rd minute, Aquilino Rozarius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venancio Rocendo made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Arvid Carlsson sent off a good shot on target.
