After a rather tough play, IFK Kik's Martin Björck got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 19th match minute, IFK Kik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Olsman to maneuver through the defense. Fredrik Bergqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaf Åström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Blåvitt's Henry Askestät got a free kick in the 90th minute. Max Askelöf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Erik Unesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After some careless play in the Blåvitt defense, Erling Bolin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Max Askelöf. The Blåvitt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Max Askelöf should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The IFK Kik fans cheered their team off the field, for while Blåvitt had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
