Belmiro Corzana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Krišjānis Ābeļnieks went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Tenorio Reiriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Bastiaro in the 35th minute of the match. Barcelona de América's Bradford Scalzo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gervasio Basallan in the 37 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Eli Isern got a free kick in the 38th minute. The supporters of Barcelona de América booed when Glorioso Deportivo Cali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tenorio Reiriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Bastiaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Bradford Scalzo charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bradford Scalzo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bradford Scalzo hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Tenorio Reiriz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Omar Arnaldo went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. When the match was over Barcelona de América could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Glorioso Deportivo Cali throughout the match.
