An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Gabirel in the 5th minute of play forced Orzeł Dąbie's goalkeeper Slobodan Ravelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slobodan Ravelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Gagriel in the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olaf Oleszak in the 9th minute of play forced Tigre's goalkeeper Desiderio Lauaxeta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 minutes, Olaf Oleszak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Orzeł Dąbie and the Tigre players grew even worse after the yellow card. Slobodan Ravelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Gabirel in the 13th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Tigre's goalkeeper Desiderio Lauaxeta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zenon Kaczeniak. Slobodan Ravelli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Slobodan Ravelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Gagriel in the 37th minute of play. Zenon Kaczeniak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Desiderio Lauaxeta made a huge save. In the 40th minute of the match, Olaf Oleszak tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Desiderio Lauaxeta saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 44 played minutes Orzeł Dąbie got a freekick which was hit by Miroslaw Sroki. After 48 played minutes Tigre got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Sal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zenon Kaczeniak to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Tigre's Nicasio Frans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Slobodan Ravelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 59th match minute, Tigre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Gabirel to maneuver through the defense. After 60 played minutes Tigre got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Lore. In the 74th minute Amadeu Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Lauaxeta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Orzeł Dąbie's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Gagriel came free, but Slobodan Ravelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Gabirel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, Waldemar Czajkowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Desiderio Lauaxeta. Tigre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Waldemar Czajkowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Desiderio Lauaxeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olaf Oleszak in the 86th minute of the match. Paolo Gagriel took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Slobodan Ravelli. Slobodan Ravelli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Câmpeanu in the 97th minute of play forced Tigre's goalkeeper Desiderio Lauaxeta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Tigre could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Orzeł Dąbie throughout the match.
