The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ulvi Ulvi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Garopaba F.C's Wambasther Özil was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ulvi Ulvi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the WAL Family United Team defense, Dedé Correia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulvi Ulvi. The WAL Family United Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulvi Ulvi should have stopped the shot. Dedé Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ulvi Ulvi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 13 in the game by Fanuco Miro from a close distance when the talented Lauro Meirelles managed to make a qualified save. Garopaba F.C's players were relieved. 15 minutes into the match, WAL Family United Team's goal looked a bit too open when Dedé Correia came free, but Ulvi Ulvi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Sune Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Meirelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, WAL Family United Team's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Bueno came free, but Ulvi Ulvi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lauro Meirelles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cezary Januszewski in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in WAL Family United Team's zone, Dedé Correia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulvi Ulvi came out of the goal and Dedé Correia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute Nicolas Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulvi Ulvi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glauco Figueiredo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Wambasther Özil sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and WAL Family United Team's Ulvi Ulvi didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Bueno in the 35th minute of play forced WAL Family United Team's goalkeeper Ulvi Ulvi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulvi Ulvi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedé Correia in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Joga Barbalis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulvi Ulvi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedé Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 45 played minutes WAL Family United Team got a freekick which was hit by Fanuco Miro. The supporters of WAL Family United Team booed when Garopaba F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Bueno didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Garopaba F.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dedé Correia was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dedé Correia got free with Ulvi Ulvi in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute Dedé Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulvi Ulvi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lauro Meirelles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sune Ekström in the 60th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Dedé Correia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Garopaba F.C's Dedé Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fanuco Miro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Orlondon was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 77 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the game, one of WAL Family United Team:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 79 minutes, Garopaba F.C's Dedé Correia got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ulvi Ulvi. Ulvi Ulvi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Bueno in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Joga Barbalis made a precise shot to the right of Lauro Meirelles. Garopaba F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 87th minute Nicolas Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulvi Ulvi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fanuco Miro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Garopaba F.C's zone, Sune Ekström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lauro Meirelles came out of the goal and Sune Ekström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Garopaba F.C walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
