Atilano Ixona received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Robustiano Sesuldo came out and tried to block the shot, but Atilano Ixona slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 8th minute. If Santo Traslago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Ixona in the 13th minute of play forced Damian’s Team's goalkeeper Robustiano Sesuldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 played minutes Damian’s Team got a freekick which was hit by Suscal Urquiaga. Rolando Martxot charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rolando Martxot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Damian’s Team booed when Los Reyes del Sur FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Martxot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilberto Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Boix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santo Traslago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Gilberto Martinez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santo Traslago to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Damian’s Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Traslago to maneuver through the defense. Robustiano Sesuldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Ixona in the 62nd minute of play. Martin Boix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Los Reyes del Sur FC's Marcelo Richie got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Gavino Guter fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Reyes del Sur FC's protests and gave Gavino Guter a yellow card for diving instead. Los Reyes del Sur FC's Ignacio Remir was substituted for Rolando Martxot. When the match had been going on for 83 minutes, Damian’s Team's Rogerio Rocafort got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gilberto Martinez. Los Reyes del Sur FC's Hermengildo Vermudo was substituted for Atilano Ixona. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaias Montejo during the 93rd minute.
