Doni das Neves came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Barra EC's Pedro Luiz Souto. But to his dismay, Pedro Luiz Souto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cauã Maciel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Barra EC's Pedro Luiz Souto in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TEIXEIRINHA FC's goalie prevented a goal. Esteban Gentza scored 1-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romeu Borges, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute of the match, Fred Finsberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Romeu Borges saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With his leg Romeu Borges managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when TEIXEIRINHA FC's Esteban Gentza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Doni das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When TEIXEIRINHA FC's Esteban Gentza in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barra EC's goalie prevented a goal. TEIXEIRINHA FC's Esteban Gentza got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esteban Gentza in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeu Borges saved Barra EC from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Esteban Gentza took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Romeu Borges to make any attempt to save it. In the 38th minute, Esteban Gentza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. TEIXEIRINHA FC's José Maria Ceresso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Romeu Borges in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 43rd minute Esteban Gentza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Olavo Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Remy Sanderson's late challenge caught a TEIXEIRINHA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remy Sanderson helped the player get up and apologised. Remy Sanderson kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esteban Gentza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Barra EC's Romeu Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Gentza in the 51st minute of play. In the 51st minute, Esteban Gentza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romeu Borges was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Esteban Gentza took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romeu Borges. Romeu Borges dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Luiz Souto in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Doni das Neves saved TEIXEIRINHA FC from getting behind. The Barra EC fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Barra EC's Pedro Luiz Souto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Romeu Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aírton Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute, Fred Finsberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Barra EC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Cao Cheng Fan hit a great ball. Romeu Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Gentza, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After a rather tough play, Barra EC's Remy Sanderson got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 68 played minutes Barra EC got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Paraense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteban Gentza in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeu Borges prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Doni das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luiz Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Gentza in the 86th minute of play forced Barra EC's goalkeeper Romeu Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of TEIXEIRINHA FC booed when Barra EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Loyola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esteban Gentza's late challenge caught a Barra EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteban Gentza helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to TEIXEIRINHA FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Esteban Gentza hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. TEIXEIRINHA FC fully deserved thier win.
