Olov Linquist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dedé Correia's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Olov Linquist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dedé Correia in the 18th minute. Olov Linquist made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Dedé Correia sent off a good shot on target. AIF's Olov Linquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Bueno in the 20th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Dedé Correia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olov Linquist was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Dedé Correia might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olov Linquist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dedé Correia ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute, Dedé Correia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Olov Linquist. The goal made the score 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in AIF's zone, Dedé Correia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olov Linquist came out of the goal and Dedé Correia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Bueno came free, but Olov Linquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 played minutes Garopaba F.C got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Bueno. After 47 played minutes Garopaba F.C got a freekick which was hit by Wambasther Özil. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfred Sandström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Dedé Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Odin kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Dedé Correia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olov Linquist. AIF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dedé Correia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 87th minute, Dedé Correia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olov Linquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Garopaba F.C's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
