After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Mikkel Beck managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.C.Mandala's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikkel Beck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Higgins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mikkel Beck struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Alexander Higgins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.C.Mandala. Fletcher Main recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romeu Porto during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Scotland booed when A.C.Mandala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeu Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Marquez got free with Alexander Higgins in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 16 minutes, Dorival Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.C.Mandala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dorival Leão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Scotland's goalkeeper Alexander Higgins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mikkel Beck. 21 minutes into the match, Scotland's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Marquez came free, but Alexander Higgins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Igor Maranhense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Alexander Higgins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 25 minutes into the match, Scotland's goalkeeper Alexander Higgins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Maranhense. 29 minutes into the match, A.C.Mandala's Dorival Leão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexander Higgins narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 30 played minutes Scotland got a freekick which was hit by Kian MacGregor. Fletcher Main might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Su Xiang Chuan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fletcher Main ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute, Tomas Gustavsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.C.Mandala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Su Xiang Chuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alistair Morrison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Scotland's Alexander Higgins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Scotland from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Gustavsson to strike the kick off in the second half. After 60 minutes of play, A.C.Mandala's Dorival Leão made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexander Higgins was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Igor Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Higgins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikkel Beck in the 74th minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Mikkel Beck made a precise shot to the right of Alexander Higgins. Scotland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. After a rather tough play, Scotland's Kian MacGregor got a free kick in the 79th minute. Cristian Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alexander Higgins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dorival Leão went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. In the 88th minute, Tomas Gustavsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexander Higgins was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. After 96 minutes, Luisinho Penha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.C.Mandala and the Scotland players grew even worse after the yellow card. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. A.C.Mandala had played much better football throughout.
