The corner ended in Hossein Fatehi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic did a great save. In the 15th minute Kiumars Daneshjou suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. 15 minutes into the game, Sreten Popovic was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Serbia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Army the free kick. Red Army made a substitution. Salar Kazemzadeh replaced Kiumars Daneshjou. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Karimi, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Rostam Mansourian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a huge save. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was a little too slow when Ali Karimi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, Roozbeh Nakisa notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Karimi in the 38th minute of the match. Mehrab Rohani came free with the goalkeeper in the 44th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zvezdan Nedeljkovic could save by the left post. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Rostam Mansourian capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rostam Mansourian really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

In the 61st match minute, Serbia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Borjan Golubovic to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Ali Karimi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Red Army fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Red Army's Ali Karimi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 11-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 75th minute, Ali Karimi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Army fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. In the 77th minute, Ali Karimi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. Arya Javaheri made in the 81st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Roozbeh Nakisa however managed to control. 86 minutes into the match, Ali Reza Abdi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Serbia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ali Reza Abdi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 15-0. In the 89th minute, Roozbeh Nakisa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Army fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 16-0. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Karimi in the 93rd minute of play. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rostam Mansourian in the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Mahbod Nikbakht-Vahedi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Serbia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mahbod Nikbakht-Vahedi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 17-0. When the referee ended the match the Red Army players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
