Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Tony Henriksson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Farès Zarabi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvard Klemensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvin Brenner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Kashima Antlers's zone, Jan-Ove Håning stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Farès Zarabi came out of the goal and Jan-Ove Håning tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 54 minutes into the match, Alvin Brenner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Farès Zarabi. Kashima Antlers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvin Brenner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Alvin Brenner scored 0-8 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Farès Zarabi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 62 minutes into the match, Jan-Ove Håning had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Farès Zarabi. Kashima Antlers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan-Ove Håning was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Kashima Antlers's Farès Zarabi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Kashima Antlers's Hicham Djamel got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, Jan-Ove Håning notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of Kashima Antlers's Farès Zarabi. Farès Zarabi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emanuel Uter's late challenge caught a Kashima Antlers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Uter helped the player get up and apologised. Faouzi Boniche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Maroc kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Farès Zarabi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Ove Håning in the 82nd minute of play. In the 96th minute, Emanuel Uter made a precise shot to the right of Farès Zarabi. Kashima Antlers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-14. The Kashima Antlers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Hackspett U21 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
