With an all-out effort, Egg Chasers FC's Narciso Guimarães threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Harry Hilditch, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 6 minutes, Alex Barone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Egg Chasers FC and the October 04 players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Egg Chasers FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Alex Barone hit a great ball. With a little luck, October 04's Narciso Guimarães got control of the ball when Pete Partridge tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute Egg Chasers FC were awarded a corner. Alex Barone went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Egg Chasers FC's Alex Barone to fire away a dangerous shot which Narciso Guimarães despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Don Major had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Narciso Guimarães. October 04's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Don Major was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Harry Hilditch scored 3-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Narciso Guimarães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd match minute, October 04 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Simões to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's Alex Barone broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Narciso Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Hilditch in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Egg Chasers FC's Lee Bannatyne got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Billie Curtis during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Narciso Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Hilditch in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Luís Eduardo França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

53 minutes into the match, October 04's goal looked a bit too open when Billie Curtis came free, but Narciso Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Luís Eduardo França's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albert Godsall was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Albert Godsall didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Eduardo França went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Narciso Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billie Curtis in the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Mário Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pete Partridge hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Allan Simões took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Albert Godsall to make any attempt to save it. Geraldo Schmidt took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albert Godsall. Albert Godsall dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. In the 73rd minute of the match Anderson Machado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albert Godsall skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Don Major in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narciso Guimarães saved October 04 from getting behind. Narciso Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Hilditch, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Narciso Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pete Partridge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
