Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rolf Ekström got the match started through his kick off. Claes Nordmark came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by AIF's Stefan Collin. But to his dismay, Stefan Collin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 7th minute, Stefan Collin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 9th minute, Stefan Collin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AIF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Eskilstuna's zone, Stefan Collin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claes Nordmark came out of the goal and Stefan Collin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bror Skoog in the 19th minute of play forced AFC Eskilstuna's goalkeeper Claes Nordmark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the game, AFC Eskilstuna's Nils-Åke Willig nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven-Olof Ahlroht made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stefan Wiberg during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th match minute, AFC Eskilstuna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Wiberg to maneuver through the defense. AFC Eskilstuna's Claes Nordmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bror Skoog in the 34th minute of play. Bror Skoog recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stefan Collin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claes Nordmark having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Eskilstuna's zone, Karl-Michael Bergstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claes Nordmark came out of the goal and Karl-Michael Bergstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Bror Skoog made the kick off in the second half. AIF's Sven-Olof Ahlroht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörn Malmgren in the 51st minute of play. Benjamin Tolsson kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Gunnar Klemensson in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AFC Eskilstuna's Gustaf Pihl. In the 59th match minute, AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Tolsson to maneuver through the defense. AIF's Sven-Olof Ahlroht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Åke Willig in the 61st minute of play. AFC Eskilstuna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nils-Åke Willig in the 62nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Johan Mellin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sven-Olof Ahlroht quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bror Skoog in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claes Nordmark prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claes Nordmark didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 71st minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. The supporters of AIF booed when AFC Eskilstuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf Rydberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, AIF's Bror Skoog dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Claes Nordmark made an important save on a dangerous shot by Birger Engström in the 88th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as AIF's Birger Engström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claes Nordmark. That made the score 1-7 after 89 minutes of play. Stefan Collin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Claes Nordmark made a huge save. AIF played a much better game than AFC Eskilstuna and deserved their victory. The AFC Eskilstuna players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
