Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) SC Angrense's Simão Vilela started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Bertil Duerlund threw the ball into play from the sideline. SC Angrense's Alfredo Macena quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of SC Angrense booed when Monks in Robes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Vrbovci didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the game, SC Angrense's Máximo Guarda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maurits Vesterherup made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 13th minute, Leif Sjørlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of SC Angrense booed when Monks in Robes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Sjørlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simão Vilela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurits Vesterherup having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Máximo Guarda managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Angrense's supporters rose to their feet, but Máximo Guarda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurits Vesterherup breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maurits Vesterherup made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máximo Guarda in the 21st minute of play. Paulo Belém came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Monks in Robes's Frode Numelin. But to his dismay, Frode Numelin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 29 minutes into the match, Monks in Robes's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Saldanha came free, but Maurits Vesterherup reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of SC Angrense booed when Monks in Robes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frode Numelin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Tiago Saldanha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maurits Vesterherup. Monks in Robes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiago Saldanha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 36th minute, Máximo Guarda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurits Vesterherup was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 39thth minute of the game Frode Numelin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Angrense's Paulo Belém was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulo Belém was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frode Numelin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 42 minute of play. A collision led to Monks in Robes getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Rupert Give hit a great ball. Monks in Robes's Maurits Vesterherup played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Vilela in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Frode Numelin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monks in Robes's supporters rose to their feet, but Frode Numelin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Belém breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Monks in Robes defense, Simão Vilela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurits Vesterherup. The Monks in Robes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurits Vesterherup should have stopped the shot. Frode Numelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68thth minute of the game Frode Numelin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Angrense's Paulo Belém was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frode Numelin in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Belém saved SC Angrense from getting behind. Tiago Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurits Vesterherup having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Simão Vilela made a precise shot to the right of Maurits Vesterherup. Monks in Robes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. Paulo Belém showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frode Numelin in the 82nd minute of the match. Paulo Belém stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frode Numelin's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. If Frode Numelin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute of the match, Simão Vilela got a very nice opportunity to score, but Maurits Vesterherup was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 93 minutes, Alfredo Macena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Angrense and the Monks in Robes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maurits Vesterherup took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Vilela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Angrense had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
