An unexpectedly hard shot by Billie Curtis in the 4th minute of play forced AIF's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Ahlroht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albert Godsall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bror Skoog in the 6th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Egg Chasers FC were awarded a corner. Alex Barone went to the cornerflag to take it. Sven-Olof Ahlroht showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billie Curtis, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After a rather tough play, Egg Chasers FC's Gareth Rowe got a free kick in the 18th minute. AIF's Karl-Michael Bergstedt shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Gareth Rowe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Hilditch came free, but Sven-Olof Ahlroht reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harry Hilditch in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Olof Ahlroht prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Egg Chasers FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alex Barone in the 26th minute. Albert Godsall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birger Engström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Olof Ahlroht showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Hilditch in the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Harry Hilditch notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of AIF's Sven-Olof Ahlroht. Sven-Olof Ahlroht was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sven-Olof Ahlroht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Hilditch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by AIF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alex Barone was slow to take the kick. During this time Egg Chasers FC's players had a chance to rest. Alex Barone made a great header on Egg Chasers FC's corner, it was just that AIF's Sven-Olof Ahlroht managed to reach the ball for a save. Sven-Olof Ahlroht didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Billie Curtis went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 46th match minute, AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Tolsson to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Bror Skoog made the kick off in the second half. Egg Chasers FC's Pete Partridge got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Egg Chasers FC's Harry Hilditch was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 54th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 57th minute, Steve Knott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harry Hilditch who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Sven-Olof Ahlroht when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pete Partridge kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Bror Skoog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Albert Godsall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Joel Groom took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Sven-Olof Ahlroht to make any attempt to save it. Sven-Olof Ahlroht came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Egg Chasers FC's Harry Hilditch. But to his dismay, Harry Hilditch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After 77 played minutes Egg Chasers FC got a freekick which was hit by Steve Knott. After a rather tough play, Egg Chasers FC's Pete Partridge got a free kick in the 78th minute. Sven-Olof Ahlroht made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Pete Partridge sent off a good shot on target. AIF's Sven-Olof Ahlroht proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save AIF from getting a goal against them. Sven-Olof Ahlroht made an important save on a dangerous shot by Steve Knott in the 90th minute. Sven-Olof Ahlroht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Hilditch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harry Hilditch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
