An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Plugaru in the 8th minute of play forced October 04's goalkeeper Narciso Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BSC Bardejov's Michal Žemlička played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Eduardo França in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Vendelín Jasanský hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Eduardo França could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Michal Žemlička made a huge save. Josef Rovenský kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match Fabinho Falcão shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michal Žemlička showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Michal Žemlička took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geraldo Schmidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the game, BSC Bardejov's Vendelín Jasanský nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Narciso Guimarães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Reinaldo Carneiro charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reinaldo Carneiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of BSC Bardejov booed when October 04 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaldo Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geraldo Schmidt in the 38th minute of play forced BSC Bardejov's goalkeeper Michal Žemlička to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Eduardo França who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Michal Žemlička when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The long shot by Mário Pena in the 45th minute really tested Michal Žemlička's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, October 04's Waldemar de Sena got a free kick in the 48th minute. When Vendelín Jasanský came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the BSC Bardejov fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vendelín Jasanský couldn't finish the play. After the first half BSC Bardejov were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Josef Rovenský hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Michal Žemlička showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Boris Plugaru kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Eduardo França in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michal Žemlička prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 63 minutes into the game, Vendelín Jasanský cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Narciso Guimarães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice moves Boris Plugaru could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Narciso Guimarães however easily saved by the left post. Narciso Guimarães made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Vendelín Jasanský sent off a good shot on target. Narciso Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukáš Hajšman in the 71st minute of the match. After having played for 80 minutes, Rodolfo Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. October 04's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Munhoz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of October 04 booed when BSC Bardejov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ondřej Vaněček didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michal Žemlička took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Eduardo França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of October 04 booed when BSC Bardejov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukáš Hajšman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Eduardo França recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boris Plugaru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Narciso Guimarães made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. BSC Bardejov had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
