Diego Melendez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Cavaco, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Diego Melendez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão Vilela in the 22nd minute of the match. Lázaro Suárez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Sebastião Monsanto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 26 minutes into the game, SC Angrense's Aristides Cavaco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Melendez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Lázaro Suárez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Calvet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastião Monsanto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Calvet in the 37th minute of play. Diego Melendez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Cavaco, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aristides Cavaco to make the kick off. When the match had been going on for 55 minutes, SC Angrense's Tzeko Kotlarski got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Diego Melendez. A collision led to Santos de Buenos Aires FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Lázaro Regis hit a great ball. Rodrigo Calvet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Monsanto having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Santos de Buenos Aires FC's goalkeeper Diego Melendez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aristides Cavaco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Suárez in the 75th minute of play forced SC Angrense's goalkeeper Sebastião Monsanto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Aristides Cavaco could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Diego Melendez however easily saved by the left post. In the 84th minute, Aristides Cavaco made a precise shot to the right of Diego Melendez. Santos de Buenos Aires FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. SC Angrense's attentive Alfredo Macena managed to snatch the ball when Roque Mercury made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. Simão Vilela struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Diego Melendez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Angrense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Angrense eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
