SC Angrense's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Steve Knott made in the 11th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Pete Partridge however managed to control. SC Angrense's Alfredo Macena quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alex Barone, made in the 18th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Harry Hilditch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastião Monsanto was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 25th match minute, Egg Chasers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Barone to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, SC Angrense's Mladen Kertov seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mladen Kertov the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SC Angrense protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mladen Kertov had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 27th minute, one of SC Angrense:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Angrense. SC Angrense:s Sebastião Monsanto showed great skill when he stopped Alex Barone:s penalty. Egg Chasers FC's Albert Godsall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Vilela in the 33rd minute of play. With his leg Sebastião Monsanto managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Egg Chasers FC's Harry Hilditch fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 41st minute of the match, Pete Partridge got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sebastião Monsanto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 42 minutes into the match, SC Angrense's goalkeeper Sebastião Monsanto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harry Hilditch. 42 minutes into the match, Harry Hilditch dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sebastião Monsanto, 3-0. A collision led to Egg Chasers FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Steve Knott hit a great ball.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Simão Vilela was the one to do the kick off. SC Angrense's Sebastião Monsanto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pete Partridge in the 54th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harry Hilditch in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastião Monsanto saved SC Angrense from getting behind. After 56 played minutes SC Angrense got a freekick which was hit by Simão Vilela. In the 63rd match minute, SC Angrense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão Vilela to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the game, Simão Vilela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Angrense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Egg Chasers FC the free kick. Harry Hilditch took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastião Monsanto. Sebastião Monsanto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Sebastião Monsanto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Barone in the 71st minute of play. If Pete Partridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Pete Partridge ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastião Monsanto was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 82nd match minute, Egg Chasers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Barone to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Harry Hilditch notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of SC Angrense's Sebastião Monsanto. Sebastião Monsanto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in SC Angrense's zone, Steve Knott stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastião Monsanto came out of the goal and Steve Knott tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastião Monsanto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pete Partridge in the 94th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Angrense's zone, Bradley Blueman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastião Monsanto came out of the goal and Bradley Blueman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Egg Chasers FC were the better team. Egg Chasers FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
