Diego Melendez made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Shi Li Sha sent off a good shot on target. Santos de Buenos Aires FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Miromir Szostak scored to the left of an out of position Diego Melendez, making the score, 2-0. Miromir Szostak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diego Melendez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Miromir Szostak succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 13th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miromir Szostak in the 17th minute of play forced Santos de Buenos Aires FC's goalkeeper Diego Melendez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Melendez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Miromir Szostak showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 26 minute of play. Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Diego Melendez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Santos de Buenos Aires FC from getting a goal against them. In a very dangerous position, a player in Santos de Buenos Aires FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Miromir Szostak scored 6-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diego Melendez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Shi Li Sha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Berend Hermensen might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diego Melendez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Berend Hermensen ran back to his position shaking his head. Diego Melendez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miromir Szostak, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ye Feng Feng in the 56th minute of play forced Santos de Buenos Aires FC's goalkeeper Diego Melendez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Melendez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miromir Szostak in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Santos de Buenos Aires FC's goal looked a bit too open when Shi Li Sha came free, but Diego Melendez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Hackspett U21's Joachim Holmgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save FC Hackspett U21 from getting a goal against them. When FC Hackspett U21's Miromir Szostak in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santos de Buenos Aires FC's goalie prevented a goal. 64 minutes into the match, Shi Li Sha notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Diego Melendez. Diego Melendez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Luka Pirlo came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the FC Hackspett U21 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luka Pirlo couldn't finish the play. FC Hackspett U21 made a substitution. Kara Melo replaced Göran Ekelund. In the 73rd minute, Ye Feng Feng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 played minutes FC Hackspett U21 got a freekick which was hit by Ye Feng Feng. Eulalio Chucho made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Hackspett U21's Luka Pirlo. Lázaro Regis made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Hackspett U21's Wilhelm Kilberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvard Klemensson in the 78th minute of play forced Santos de Buenos Aires FC's goalkeeper Diego Melendez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Santos de Buenos Aires FC defense, Shi Li Sha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diego Melendez. The Santos de Buenos Aires FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diego Melendez should have stopped the shot. After 91 minutes of play, FC Hackspett U21's Alvin Brenner made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diego Melendez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diego Melendez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvard Klemensson in the 95th minute of the match. FC Hackspett U21's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
