Harry Hilditchs short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Diego Melendez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Diego Melendez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jay Palmer in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Santos de Buenos Aires FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bradley Blueman came free, but Diego Melendez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steve Knott hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The referee showed Alex Barone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes Egg Chasers FC got a freekick which was hit by Alex Barone. 41 minutes into the match, Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Roque Mercury broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Franz Hardcastle's late challenge caught a Santos de Buenos Aires FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franz Hardcastle helped the player get up and apologised. After 45 played minutes Egg Chasers FC got a freekick which was hit by Franz Hardcastle. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Diego Melendez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Hilditch in the 54th minute of the match. After 54 played minutes Santos de Buenos Aires FC got a freekick which was hit by Roque Mercury. In the 56th match minute, Santos de Buenos Aires FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Dolfo to maneuver through the defense. Alex Barone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Diego Melendez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Hilditch, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 65 minutes of play, Egg Chasers FC's Harry Hilditch made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diego Melendez was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Lee Bannatyne fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Egg Chasers FC's protests and gave Lee Bannatyne a yellow card for diving instead. Lee Bannatyne kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Rodrigo Calvet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Albert Godsall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Melendez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Groom in the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Joel Groom made a precise shot to the right of Diego Melendez. Santos de Buenos Aires FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Diego Melendez came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Egg Chasers FC's Bradley Blueman. But to his dismay, Bradley Blueman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Diego Melendez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Hilditch, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 88 minutes into the match, Harry Hilditch notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Diego Melendez. Diego Melendez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Egg Chasers FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
