The referee ignored Northern California's protests and gave Leandro Haritzeder a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Leandro Haritzeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute Silvestre Txomin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Pacorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TALLERES DE CBA's Alejo Pacorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Txomin in the 16th minute of play. Bonifacio Txerran hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After 28 minutes, Otto Kotto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Northern California and the TALLERES DE CBA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Northern California was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Kotto to maneuver through the defense. If Uriel Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Northern California booed when TALLERES DE CBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Gabrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Timoteo Frisco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejo Pacorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Haritzeder in the 42nd minute of play. Northern California's Santos Mino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Gabrio in the 44th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Timoteo Frisco made the kick off in the second half. Alejo Pacorro made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Timoteo Frisco sent off a good shot on target. Northern California's Santos Mino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Gabrio in the 55th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Alonzo Faron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Northern California's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TALLERES DE CBA the free kick. The supporters of TALLERES DE CBA booed when Northern California was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Faron didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Bonifacio Txerran made a precise shot to the right of Santos Mino. Northern California's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Alejo Pacorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Haritzeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd match minute, Northern California was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Heriberto to maneuver through the defense. Gonzalo Klusener charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonzalo Klusener the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Timoteo Frisco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Alejo Pacorro made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timoteo Frisco got free with Alejo Pacorro in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Heriberto in the 73rd minute of play forced TALLERES DE CBA's goalkeeper Alejo Pacorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Northern California's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Klusener came free, but Santos Mino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Silvestre Txomin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alejo Pacorro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bonifacio Txerran took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santos Mino. Santos Mino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Alejo Pacorro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Haritzeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. With a little luck, TALLERES DE CBA's Alejo Pacorro got control of the ball when Timoteo Frisco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Northern California's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
