Farès Zarabi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Farès Zarabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horácio Aguiar in the 6th minute of the match. With a little luck, Kashima Antlers's Farès Zarabi got control of the ball when Tomé Macedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kashima Antlers's zone, Tomé Macedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Farès Zarabi came out of the goal and Tomé Macedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horácio Aguiar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Farès Zarabi came out and tried to block the shot, but Horácio Aguiar slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 15th minute. October 04's Narciso Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hicham Djamel in the 20th minute of play. Horácio Aguiar succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Farès Zarabi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geraldo Schmidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Farès Zarabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geraldo Schmidt in the 24th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes Kashima Antlers got a freekick which was hit by Robert Maroc. Slimane Kraouche hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomé Macedo in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Farès Zarabi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Slimane Kraouche was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 36 minutes had been played. In the 37th minute, Slimane Kraouche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, October 04's Tomé Macedo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Farès Zarabi. Farès Zarabi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. The crowd rose to their feet as October 04's Horácio Aguiar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Farès Zarabi. That made the score 6-0 after 44 minutes of play. October 04 were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Kashima Antlers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wilian Alcântara took the corner. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hicham Djamel made a kick off. Farès Zarabi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horácio Aguiar in the 54th minute of play. Hicham Djamel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Narciso Guimarães having to make a save. A collision led to Kashima Antlers getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Robert Maroc hit a great ball. Hicham Djamel kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Farès Zarabi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilian Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. October 04 made a substitution. Durvalino Albuquerque replaced Geraldo Schmidt. October 04 made a substitution. Rodolfo Munhoz replaced Allan Simões. 72 minutes into the game, Horácio Aguiar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Farès Zarabi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77th minute, Horácio Aguiar made a precise shot to the right of Farès Zarabi. Kashima Antlers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Aguiar in the 80th minute of play forced Kashima Antlers's goalkeeper Farès Zarabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Wilian Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farès Zarabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, October 04's Anderson Machado got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 88th minute, Faouzi Boniche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Tomé Macedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Farès Zarabi. Kashima Antlers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomé Macedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Farès Zarabi came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by October 04's Wilian Alcântara. But to his dismay, Wilian Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. The supporters of October 04 booed when Kashima Antlers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Maroc didn't get a good kick on the ball.
