Alexander Higgins was a little too slow when Gelu Gabrea got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 2-0. Ionuț Romeo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zac O'Donnell, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Tornadele Siret's Șerban Gârleanu got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Ionuț Romeo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fletcher Main, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the game, Kayden Ward was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scotland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tornadele Siret the free kick. In the 25th minute, Kayden Ward hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexander Higgins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gelu Gabrea in the 27th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horia Boteanu got free with Alexander Higgins in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 34th play minutes Gelu Gabrea shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Alexander Higgins and just under the crossbar into goal. Alexander Higgins made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horia Boteanu in the 39th minute. When Tornadele Siret's Gelu Gabrea in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Scotland's goalie prevented a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

52 minutes into the match, Dumitru Gheordunescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexander Higgins. Scotland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dumitru Gheordunescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Alexander Higgins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gelu Gabrea, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the game, Tornadele Siret's Marian Bulencea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexander Higgins made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Gelu Gabrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Higgins having to interfere. Zac O'Donnell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ionuț Romeo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Scotland's Alexander Higgins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horia Boteanu in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumitru Gheordunescu in the 75th minute of play forced Scotland's goalkeeper Alexander Higgins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Jack MacKinnon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scotland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tornadele Siret the free kick. After 81 played minutes Scotland got a freekick which was hit by Jack MacKinnon. In the 85thth minute of the game Gelu Gabrea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scotland's Alexander Higgins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Scotland's goal looked a bit too open when Dumitru Gheordunescu came free, but Alexander Higgins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 89 minutes, Horia Boteanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tornadele Siret's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horia Boteanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Gavril Vâtcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert McNeill's late challenge caught a Tornadele Siret's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robert McNeill helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Robert McNeill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexander Higgins showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tornadele Siret's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
