In the 36th minute, Şükrü Yazargil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MACAU. F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Ilija Skugor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Şükrü Yazargil in the 39th minute. After some careless play in the Croatia defense, Bater Pivetta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ilija Skugor. The Croatia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilija Skugor should have stopped the shot. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luo Feng Bang to strike the kick off in the second half.
