In the 3rd match minute, FC Nereta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristaps Zaumanis to maneuver through the defense. After 7 played minutes FC Nereta got a freekick which was hit by Raimonds Vitals. 7 minutes into the match, Jim Håkansson notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of FC Nereta's Izidors Boldāns. Izidors Boldāns was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Haymakers FC's Sven-Olof Blomkvist got a free kick in the 11th minute. Robin Olsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilgvars Ledgrauzis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Izidors Boldāns made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Kurt Ahlbeck sent off a good shot on target. Izidors Boldāns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Ahlbeck in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute of the match Haymakers FC got a corner. FC Nereta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Johannes Kvarnström ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kurt Ahlbeck made a great header on Haymakers FC's corner, it was just that FC Nereta's Izidors Boldāns managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 25th match minute, Haymakers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Åke Nyman to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Haymakers FC's goalkeeper Robin Olsen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Izidors Boldāns took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Olof Mogren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Izidors Boldāns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Ahlbeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Izidors Boldāns showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Ahlbeck in the 37th minute of the match. Haymakers FC's Roger Pil was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 41st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 44th minute, Sven-Olof Mogren fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Izidors Boldāns, passed just outside the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrejs Unbolds to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Haymakers FC booed when FC Nereta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimonds Vitals didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 52 minutes of play, Haymakers FC's Jim Håkansson made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Izidors Boldāns was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 56 played minutes Haymakers FC got a freekick which was hit by Lennart Kjellbom. Izidors Boldāns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Håkansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 64th minute, Roger Pil made a precise shot to the right of Izidors Boldāns. FC Nereta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Pil in the 68th minute of play forced FC Nereta's goalkeeper Izidors Boldāns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Nereta getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Kaspars Budavs hit a great ball. The supporters of Haymakers FC booed when FC Nereta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anatols Putenis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th match minute, FC Nereta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimonds Vitals to maneuver through the defense. Jim Håkansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Izidors Boldāns tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kaspars Budavs fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Nereta's protests and gave Kaspars Budavs a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jim Håkansson in the 80th minute of play forced FC Nereta's goalkeeper Izidors Boldāns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roger Pil in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Izidors Boldāns prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Haymakers FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Jim Håkansson hit a great ball. Anatols Putenis kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Roger Pil notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of FC Nereta's Izidors Boldāns. Izidors Boldāns was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Robin Olsen was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Ilgvars Ledgrauzis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ilgvars Ledgrauzis really showed his touch with that goal: 10-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Haymakers FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Nereta had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
