Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Westenenk's Wieslaw Posadzki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Izidors Boldāns narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of FC Nereta booed when Westenenk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddy van den Eede didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Westenenk! 9 minutes into the match, Agnis Pabrūklis notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Westenenk's Jaap van der Schans. Jaap van der Schans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kaspars Budavs struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Jaap van der Schans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Nereta. Izidors Boldāns showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valio Tammisto in the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Nereta booed when Westenenk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddy van den Eede didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaap van der Schans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrejs Unbolds in the 16th minute of play. Kaspars Budavs hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Valio Tammisto took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Izidors Boldāns to make any attempt to save it. FC Nereta's Izidors Boldāns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valio Tammisto in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute of the match Westenenk got a corner. FC Nereta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eddy van den Eede ran over to the corner to take the kick. 32 minutes into the match, FC Nereta's goal looked a bit too open when Valio Tammisto came free, but Izidors Boldāns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Izidors Boldāns stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valio Tammisto's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Andrejs Unbolds managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Nereta's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrejs Unbolds was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaap van der Schans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Gervasio Lauaxeta's late challenge caught a FC Nereta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gervasio Lauaxeta helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute, Valio Tammisto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Westenenk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 58thth minute of the game Valio Tammisto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Nereta's Izidors Boldāns was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Izidors Boldāns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddy van den Eede in the 60th minute of play. Westenenk's Valio Tammisto got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valio Tammisto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Izidors Boldāns took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valio Tammisto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 73 minutes, Valio Tammisto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Westenenk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valio Tammisto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Andrejs Unbolds had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Valio Tammisto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valio Tammisto struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Izidors Boldāns didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Westenenk. Izidors Boldāns came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Westenenk's Eddy van den Eede. But to his dismay, Eddy van den Eede quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Gervasio Lauaxeta took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Izidors Boldāns. Izidors Boldāns dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Westenenk walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
