Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mans's Bérenger Bauche started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jamal Musiala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Francesco Toldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mans defense, Rivaldo Ferreira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ilan Saudrais. The Mans fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilan Saudrais should have stopped the shot. In the 10th minute, Rivaldo Ferreira made a precise shot to the right of Ilan Saudrais. Mans's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The supporters of Mans booed when Machu Picchu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Halim Tümay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aydın Ustaoğlu hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramazan Yalkı in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilan Saudrais saved Mans from getting behind. Thomas Müller charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Halim Tümay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francesco Toldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ilan Saudrais stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Behlül Tacik's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 69th minute, Behlül Tacik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Mans booed when Machu Picchu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Galip Kurhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roland Ageorges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
