After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Per-Åke Stor made the kick off in the second half. Jan-Ove Wiman came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Deus Ex Machina's Freddy Rouvrais. But to his dismay, Freddy Rouvrais quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 54th match minute, Deus Ex Machina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Dubrulle to maneuver through the defense. William Dubrulle hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, Carlos Julienne dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jan-Ove Wiman, 1-3. The supporters of Moodys IF booed when Deus Ex Machina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Caze didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jérémie Millier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Deus Ex Machina had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
