Jarl Granström helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Haymakers FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Jarl Granström hit a great ball. Monks in Robes's Mouritz Søjbjerg got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the game, Bertil Duerlund recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stig Brask. Bertil Duerlund showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Bertil Duerlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Haymakers FC's Kim Kullgren got a free kick in the 20th minute. Rupert Give made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Snell in the 23rd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Bo-Erik Sjöö shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rupert Give saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leif Sjørlund's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Stig Brask skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Monks in Robes getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Bertil Duerlund hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Broman in the 27th minute of play forced Monks in Robes's goalkeeper Rupert Give to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Bo-Erik Sjöö made a precise shot to the right of Rupert Give. Monks in Robes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Gustaf Wennerquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rupert Give having to interfere. Leif Sjørlund's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Stig Brask firmly grabbed it by the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leif Sjørlund was the one to do the kick off. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Haymakers FC! In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Monks in Robes. Leif Sjørlund stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Stig Brask. 3-1. Stig Brask took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leif Sjørlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vagner Ørsnes lost his temper 70 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. With an all-out effort, Haymakers FC's Rupert Give threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lukas Apelkvist, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rupert Give showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas Apelkvist in the 74th minute of the match. Haymakers FC's Stig Brask played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Duerlund in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of Monks in Robes booed when Haymakers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukas Apelkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haymakers FC's Stig Brask played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Kongsvang in the 77th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lukas Apelkvist got free with Rupert Give in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute, Leif Sjørlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rupert Give was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lukas Apelkvist. The supporters of Monks in Robes booed when Haymakers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Snell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustaf Wennerquist hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Haymakers FC defense, Bertil Duerlund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stig Brask. The Haymakers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stig Brask should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Monks in Robes fans cheered their team off the field, for while Haymakers FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
