In the 10th minute, Roger Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lino Amer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 21 played minutes !Pabellon Ourense C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Ginés Figueres. After a rather tough play, Scofield's Timoteo Rufo got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Constantino Mel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Amer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of !Pabellon Ourense C.F. booed when Scofield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Orti didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Scofield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Romero to maneuver through the defense. Ubaldo Orti hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Rufo in the 37th minute of play forced !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s goalkeeper Andres Salan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 played minutes !Pabellon Ourense C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Peio Saavedra. Scofield were furious when Maximiliano Enekoitz was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Andres Salan made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Timoteo Rufo sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lino Amer was the one to do the kick off. Samuel Isaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Salan having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Roger Ortiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Constantino Mel was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Juan Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Eladio Borrás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lino Amer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Mel having to interfere. !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Luciano Unzueta was substituted for Heli Sánchez. Timoteo Rufo scored 1-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andres Salan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th minute, Ulises Blai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Scofield's Constantino Mel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sotero Quiroga in the 87th minute of play. Scofield's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Luciano Unzueta scored to the left of an out of position Constantino Mel, making the score, 2-2. Ulises Blai's late challenge caught a !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulises Blai helped the player get up and apologised. Ulises Blai kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Constantino Mel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sotero Quiroga went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The !Pabellon Ourense C.F. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing !Pabellon Ourense C.F. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
