Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) istanbulls's Hazım Hastimur started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Ahmet Göktuğ Arıtan fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored istanbulls's protests and gave Ahmet Göktuğ Arıtan a yellow card for diving instead. Roland Ageorges hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the game, Thomas Müller was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mans's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave istanbulls the free kick. After 12 played minutes Mans got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Müller. In the 15th minute, Killian Charbonnier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ceyhun Koyas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Haydar Özdinçs short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Ilan Saudrais to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, istanbulls's Ahmet Göktuğ Arıtan got a free kick in the 25th minute. With a little luck, Mans's Ilan Saudrais got control of the ball when Haydar Özdinç tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ilan Saudrais came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by istanbulls's Haydar Özdinç. But to his dismay, Haydar Özdinç quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Mans's Killian Charbonnier in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye istanbulls's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Killian Charbonnier in the 38th minute of play forced istanbulls's goalkeeper Ceyhun Koyas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mans's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mustafa Ali Pala was slow to take the kick. During this time istanbulls's players had a chance to rest. The corner led istanbulls's Mustafa Ali Pala to fire away a dangerous shot which Ilan Saudrais despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Killian Charbonnier was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Killian Charbonnier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Ceyhun Koyas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Haydar Özdinç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haydar Özdinç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Mustafa Ali Pala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Jamal Musiala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ceyhun Koyas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Cavalier in the 68th minute of play. Haydar Özdinç's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ilan Saudrais read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute of the match istanbulls got a corner. Mans's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mustafa Ali Pala ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hazım Hastimur might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ilan Saudrais. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hazım Hastimur ran back to his position shaking his head. Hazım Hastimur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilan Saudrais having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Mans's goal looked a bit too open when Haydar Özdinç came free, but Ilan Saudrais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Derviş Efe was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 97 minutes into the match. After 98 played minutes istanbulls got a freekick which was hit by Derviş Efe. 99 minutes into the match, Mans's Anthony Cavalier broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
