Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leif Sjørlund started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bertil Duerlund got free with Belmiro Godoi in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the match, Bertil Duerlund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Belmiro Godoi. Academia B.F.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bertil Duerlund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia B.F.'s goalkeeper Belmiro Godoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Academia B.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Duerlund came free, but Belmiro Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute of the match Monks in Robes got a corner. Academia B.F.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bertil Duerlund ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bertil Duerlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Belmiro Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Duerlund in the 39th minute of play. Gilberto Meirelles charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilberto Meirelles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Academia B.F. getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Gilberto Meirelles hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erik Pereira to make the kick off. Leif Sjørlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 57 minutes of play, Monks in Robes's Leif Sjørlund made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Belmiro Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bertil Duerlund scored 4-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Belmiro Godoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 63 played minutes Monks in Robes got a freekick which was hit by Jakob Lorits. After 64 played minutes, Academia B.F.'s Arthur Baptista shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rupert Give came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Academia B.F. reached it. Belmiro Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Ringkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Academia B.F.'s Belmiro Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leif Sjørlund in the 78th minute of play. Belmiro Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertil Duerlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 84th minute Leif Sjørlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belmiro Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leif Sjørlund in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Belmiro Godoi saved Academia B.F. from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the Monks in Robes players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
