But to his dismay, Jonny Ambjörnsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 18th minute, Alpertunga Korcan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Eduardo Souza was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 21st minute Valério Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erenay Barkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Soeiro struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Erenay Barkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 20 de Março FC. Luiz Eduardo Souza was a little too slow when Alpertunga Korcan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 31st minute, MarineerS FK's Alpertunga Korcan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Alpertunga Korcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Eduardo Souza having to interfere. In the 46th minute of the match Aktuğ Kabakçı sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Eduardo Souza skillfully saved the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Ruud Vandenbosch kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, 20 de Março FC's Allan Schmidt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erenay Barkan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Schmidt in the 90th minute of play forced MarineerS FK's goalkeeper Erenay Barkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Eduardo Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alpertunga Korcan in the 92nd minute of play.
