The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Atletico ALMA's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Simão came free, but Nereo Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute Benito Ederono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Schmidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Aytuğ Sabi notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Atletico ALMA's Nereo Cordeiro. Nereo Cordeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nereo Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo da Mata in the 14th minute of the match. Benito Ederono kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Atletico ALMA got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Alonso. Nereo Cordeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by 林泉海 in the 19th minute. Atletico ALMA's Benito Ederono got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Aytuğ Sabi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nereo Cordeiro. Atletico ALMA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aytuğ Sabi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Aparecido in the 28th minute of play forced Atletico ALMA's goalkeeper Nereo Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ezequiel Salamon hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Valério Duarte struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Nereo Cordeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 20 de Março FC. In the 37th minute Evaristo da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Frasquito hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Atletico ALMA's Nereo Cordeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico ALMA from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 50th minute, Pedro Aparecido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 20 de Março FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Evaristo da Mata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Cordeiro having to interfere. Nereo Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Aparecido in the 59th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Pedro Aparecido in the 60th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Evaristo da Mata struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Nereo Cordeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 20 de Março FC. In the 66th match minute, Atletico ALMA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Montrel to maneuver through the defense. 林泉海 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raúl Veloso hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After 73 minutes of play, 20 de Março FC's Marcel Velasco made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nereo Cordeiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Atletico ALMA getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Fabio Frasquito hit a great ball. If Raúl Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nereo Cordeiro came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by 20 de Março FC's 林泉海. But to his dismay, 林泉海 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 85 minutes into the match, Atletico ALMA's goal looked a bit too open when 林泉海 came free, but Nereo Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Roque Montrel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico ALMA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 20 de Março FC the free kick. Roque Montrel kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, 林泉海 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 20 de Março FC's supporters rose to their feet, but 林泉海 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nereo Cordeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atletico ALMA's Benito Ederono got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the game, Pedro Aparecido cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Nereo Cordeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
