The throw-in from Diego Cardozo in the 3rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Armada's Diego Maurino. Róbert Benkó's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Renan Schmidt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Renan Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Róbert Benkó in the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Róbert Benkó cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Renan Schmidt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Renan Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Róbert Benkó in the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Róbert Benkó notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of 20 de Março FC's Renan Schmidt. Renan Schmidt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 14th minute, Aytuğ Sabi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Renan Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liviu Buceceanu in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Armada's goalkeeper Färid Mondragón, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Róbert Benkó's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Renan Schmidt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Armada were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after 20 de Março FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amine Barka took the corner. After taking down the ball on Armada's corner Amine Barka fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Renan Schmidt quite easily take care of the ball. Renan Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbert Benkó in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Róbert Benkó made a precise shot to the right of Renan Schmidt. 20 de Março FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The Armada fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Armada's Liviu Buceceanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Renan Schmidt came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Armada's Róbert Benkó. But to his dismay, Róbert Benkó quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 44th minute, Róbert Benkó made a precise shot to the right of Renan Schmidt. 20 de Março FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Aparecido stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Róbert Benkó was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 51st minute. Armada's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind 20 de Março FC's goalkeeper Renan Schmidt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo da Mata in the 56th minute of play forced Armada's goalkeeper Färid Mondragón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Färid Mondragón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 林泉海 in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, 20 de Março FC's goalkeeper Renan Schmidt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Róbert Benkó. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Róbert Benkó managed to get in a good position for a shot. Armada's supporters rose to their feet, but Róbert Benkó was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renan Schmidt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th minute, Róbert Benkó got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Armada's Róbert Benkó sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renan Schmidt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72nd minute Liviu Buceceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Schmidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, 20 de Março FC's Renan Schmidt got control of the ball when Róbert Benkó tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 de Março FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Róbert Benkó scored to the left of an out of position Renan Schmidt, making the score, 0-8. Amine Barka made in the 83rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by 20 de Março FC's Marcel Velasco. In the 86th minute, Róbert Benkó ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Renan Schmidt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. A collision led to 20 de Março FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. 林泉海 hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the match, Armada's Róbert Benkó sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renan Schmidt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by 20 de Março FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amine Barka was slow to take the kick. During this time Armada's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Hong Zhen Hui heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.
